2021 Honor Roll Awards

The GiveCampus Honor Roll Awards were established in 2020 to recognize our partner schools’ achievements. We’re proud to highlight some of the outstanding outcomes our community achieved during a year like no other.

Best New Program

George Washington University unveiled a new crowdfunding program, GW Raise, to engage partners across campus.

Meeting the Moment

Franklin College adapted their eighth annual giving day to a virtual format on the fly—to outstanding success.

Sacred Heart Academy created a virtual Web-A-Thon to replace an annual in-person auction fundraiser. Fun, personal details—including challenging community members to do the Chicken Dance or shave their beards at different giving thresholds and offering gift cards to local restaurants as incentives—made this campaign a hit.

Macalester College’s Give From the Heart campaign met the moment with creative content, including promoting a giving spree with a livestream feed of the school’s President playing Among Us and virtual-first giving  incentives like branded Zoom backgrounds and a backstage pass to a virtual event series.

To inspire donors to ‘Support Joyful Learning’ no matter the distance, Media-Providence Friends School created authentic video content that packed an emotional punch.

Outstanding Growth

In comparison to the previous year, Avon Old Farms School more than tripled the dollars raised nearly doubled the donors engaged during their #TeacherTuesday campaign. By sharing alumni tributes to faculty members, AOF connected donors directly to the impact of their gifts.

Community Action

Lebanese American University’s Disaster Response campaign relieved urgent needs for the institution’s Medical Center which—despite suffering structural damage itself—treated blast victims and took in patients from more damaged hospitals nearby after the August 4 explosion in Beirut.
Central Catholic High School launched  Students4Students to teach its students the importance and value of philanthropy—a lesson that has proven to be more important now than ever.

Rising Stars

Our Rising Star awards honor individuals who are at the start of their educational advancement careers and already making waves and institutions who unlocked new success on the platform.
