Happy New Year from GiveCampus!
Congratulations! You have officially made it to 2021. Pat yourself on the back for making it through one of the hardest years in recent history. In the face of all of the challenges 2020 brought, one of the biggest lessons we learned is how resilient we are, and the extent to which educational fundraising is more important than ever. It has inspired us to see educational institutions rise to the challenges of 2020 to ensure students have access to quality education while maintaining their safety. To that end, our team would like to share a few things that make us especially proud.
First, we are grateful for and proud of our wonderful partner schools. Our partners have consistently found ways to innovate while advancing their missions. GiveCampus partners raised over $400 million in support of scholarships, COVID-19 emergency relief funds, and so much more. The spirit of peer-to-peer outreach was also stronger than ever in 2020. One piece of proof? Our Volunteer Management System saw 4,112 volunteers send over 470,000 emails encouraging their communities to stay connected with their alma maters.
Together, we also supported the biggest GivingTuesday by far in our history: Our community raised 122% more compared to GivingTuesday 2019, with each school using GiveCampus raising an average of 60% more than the previous year. As the capstone to a challenging year, the results could not be more impressive.
Our partners also continued to show creativity and ingenuity to leverage our platform and drive results. Here are some of the stories that we were excited to lift up from the last year:

We are also grateful for our growing GiveCampus team, now 42 members strong and filled with passionate people who thrive on ensuring all of our partners are successful and providing support every step of the way. Our average support response time across the board was 14 minutes in 2020—and 8 minutes on GivingTuesday, when many schools relied on rapid response the most.
We also added 18 team members in 2020, enabling us to further our mission of advancing the quality, affordability, and accessibility of education. (And we are hiring to make sure we can keep innovating and support exciting growth in 2021!)

GiveCampus supports the most successful Giving Days in the field—and for the first time, schools that aren’t GiveCampus partners can access the insights and strategies that make those Giving Days so strong. It’s 100% free, and your whole team is invited.
GiveCampus partner schools are invited to learn from the thought leaders who set the pace for educational advancement at the conference that raises the bar for industry events—all without ever leaving their couch.
We launched this exclusive online community in December 2020, and now it's taking off with ongoing discussion threads, networking, and resource sharing.
Our team of fundraising experts have created templates for our partners highlighting the best of the platform, tailor-made for key moments in the fundraising year. Those include marketing plans, Giving Form themes, and Social Fundraising Platform concepts for campaigns featuring Senior Class Gifts, Athletics, Black History Month, Young Alumni, and so much more.
