GiveCampus Announces Partnership with Cash App Pay to Expand Donor Payment Options
WASHINGTON, D.C. — September 29, 2025 — GiveCampus, the world’s leading digital fundraising platform for nonprofit educational institutions, announced in August a new partnership with Cash App Pay, a fast, secure, and familiar payment method used by millions of people across the United States.
Cash App Pay is the latest addition to an expanding suite of donor payment options available on the GIveCampus platform, which already include Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, and DAFpay.
With the inclusion of Cash App Pay, GiveCampus Partner institutions can now offer their supporters one of the most widely adopted peer-to-peer payment methods. With more than 57 million active users across all ages and income levels, Cash App Pay gives donors a convenient way to support the causes they care about most, whether through giving days, crowdfunding campaigns, reunions, or other fundraising initiatives.
This new integration makes it easier than ever for schools to meet their alumni and friends where they are, reduce friction in the giving process, and engage the next generation of lifelong supporters.
“Nearly every donor today—97 percent—wants flexibility in how they give,” said GiveCampus CEO and Co-Founder Kestrel Linder. “We’ve already seen this play out on our platform: since adding Stripe Link, 70 percent of online donors prefer to give with a payment method that allows them to donate without entering their credit card number or bank account information. Bringing Cash App Pay into the mix means schools can engage even more supporters in the ways they prefer to give, and ultimately raise more to advance their missions.”
