GiveCampus and PeopleGrove Announce a Partnership to Help Schools Deepen Value, Engagement, and Giving

New partnership brings together two world-class solutions to help schools leverage the best technology for alumni relations and fundraising.

Washington, D.C. – January 11, 2021 — Today GiveCampus, the world’s leading digital fundraising platform for nonprofit educational institutions, and PeopleGrove, a SaaS platform provider of highly engaging virtual communities for university prospects, students and alumni, announced a new exclusive partnership that will enable schools to provide even greater value to their communities and advance access to education. This partnership brings together two best-in-class solutions that represent the leading platforms for fundraising and community-building.

Through this new partnership, schools will be able to link to their GiveCampus fundraising campaigns directly from the PeopleGrove platform. At a time when donors are benefiting most from the strong mentorship and support their school provides, they will have an easy opportunity to act on that goodwill and pay it forward with a gift.

We’re thrilled that this partnership gives schools one more way to build meaningful relationships with alumni and other constituent groups.

“We’ve always focused on making online giving easy, intuitive, and rewarding for donors,” said Kestrel Linder, CEO and Co-Founder of GiveCampus. “We’re thrilled that this partnership gives schools one more way to build meaningful relationships with alumni and other constituent groups.”

Schools will also be able to track how many gifts are generated from within the PeopleGrove platform, leveraging GiveCampus’s built-in analytics tools that make it easy for fundraisers to understand their best performing strategies.

“It’s often very hard to prove that correlation equals causation in fundraising,” Adam Saven, CEO and Co-Founder of PeopleGrove, added. “We’re excited that this integration has the potential to directly demonstrate just how important a network can be in driving donations.”

It is foolish to assume any single platform can meet the broad needs of university organizations. Allowing partners to use best in class solutions that work together seamlessly demonstrates clear understanding of our needs as a customer.

The partnership brings together two of the most successful technology platforms serving educational institutions. GiveCampus has now facilitated over $1 billion in charitable giving for schools, including over $400 million in 2020. Meanwhile, PeopleGrove was recently recognized as one of the fastest growing private companies in America by Inc. Magazine, and continues to create new ways for alumni to give back outside of donations.

Schools already familiar with GiveCampus and PeopleGrove are excited too. “It is exciting to see two mission-aligned technology companies integrate their products in this way,” said Susan deMuth, Assistant Vice President for Alumni Relations at Johns Hopkins University. “It is foolish to assume any single platform can meet the broad needs of university organizations. Allowing partners to use best in class solutions that work together seamlessly demonstrates clear understanding of our needs as a customer.”
