Harpeth Hall raises more than $520K on their annual giving day, nearly $35K via SMS

In the past, the Harpeth Hall team had only used texting to reach smaller groups of younger alumnae, mostly newly minted grads. But, for their big 10th Annual Giving Day, they took a chance and texted everyone. Read their story.

Historically we’ve only used texting for young alumnae. With this giving day texting campaign, we reached out to all alums and drove nearly $35,000 across multiple generations of donors.

Their most recent campaign leveraged a dozen donor challenges, including an anonymous $25,000 challenge—the school’s largest to date.

Sometimes less is more. The Harpeth Hall team sent a short giving day text appeal to their entire donor base—including parents and grandparents—not knowing what to expect. Much to their surprise, 120 loyal alums gladly answered the call.
